Removing the hat from the vignette gives the design a less 'gardeney' feel, perhaps more suited to a winery or summer party.
Repetition, as shown with the like-colored bottles creates unity in a design with multiple components.
A bottle arrangement gives the eperne added height for better proportion in the vignette, and coordinates it to the composite design on the right side.
Related components are gathered to make a large vignette. The sun hat, daisies and chickens bring sunny days, vineyards, and organic living to mind.
Stack terracotta pots and saucers to create an epergne. To make it permanent use epoxy glue to attach the parts.
In floral design, pave' is the technique of cutting plant materials very short and placing them close together to create undulating mounds of color and texture.
Do you have a beautiful pair of shoes you never had an opportunity to wear...... turn them into art by filling the shoe with dry base foam and pave' flowers over the openig.
Cut a round base out of cardboard and cover with coordinating fabric. Pave' a ring around the outside edge to create a pretty border and feature something in the center.
Cut a circle of cardboard. Cover with fabric. Pave' the outer edge of the circle with flowers and foliage.
